Sun's Signature is the new collaboration between Liz Fraser (Cocteau Twins and Massive Attack vocalist) together with her partner, Damon Reece (touring drummer with Massive Attack). It's Fraser's first new music as the lead artist in 13 years and Golden Air is the first single from their new EP.
To pair with this I've chosen a song from Cocteau Twins 1988 album, Blue Bell Knoll. I first heard the Cocteau Twins on a mix tape my brother did for me many years ago. It had just two Cocteau Twins songs on it - this one and the title track, along with as many songs by other artists that would fit on a C90 cassette.
